I am so humbly grateful for the opportunity I have had to serve my Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ these last 24 months. I am humbled by the change that I have seen in myself and so many others. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. I know that He lives and that He loves us. I know that through his atoning sacrifice we can change, progress, overcome, and persevere anything that life can throw at us. Anything that is unjust can be made just, anything unclean can be made pure, and when it seems all hope is lost, hope can be found in Him. I know that He is the Redeemer of our souls, our advocate with the Father and that through Him we may all return to live with our Father in Heaven, together with our families, in eternal peace and happiness.
I am grateful for the Gospel and teachings of Jesus Christ and all the direction, guidance, peace and joy that they have brought into my life. I know that this is His church. I know that He is at the head. I know that today, through the Restoration of His Gospel, we have a prophet on the earth today that guides us according to His divine will. This is His holy work, not the work of man, for if it were we would fail. But, because He guides it, it cannot be stopped and will bring peace and joy to all the world. As one of His called and chosen representatives I promise the blessings of heaven to all those who willingly ask and seek for Divine guidance in their lives and come unto their Savior Jesus Christ. I can promise these blessings because They, our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ, have already promised them to us. I would invite each of you to deepen your commitment, however weak or strong it already may be, to follow your Savior Jesus Christ; follow His example, His Gospel and His teachings.
I love each and every one of you. I want to thank each of you for your love and support throughout this period of growth and learning. Thank you for all your emails, letters, and words of encouragement; they have been received with love and much gratitude.
It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve the great people of Argentina. I will miss them dearly and hope to see many of them one day soon. I have loved every experience lived here, because it has helped me learn and grow and has made me the man I am today. ¡Nos veremos aún más alla!
I´ll be seeing you all soon.
With love and gratitude,
Elder Victor Pribyl
"I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy. And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me, yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me." Alma 29:9-10
