First, losing Elder Bartold was difficult! He was an awesome guy and he had a lot of potential and he was a great addition to the pench (apartment). (Elder Bartold had to go home for medical reasons) Then we found out Elder Lee was going back to the offices (Mission President Offices) and Parque B was combining with Parque A, which came as a huge shock as well! I know all of you the people in the offices are happy to see Elder Lee back, he's a stud and always willing to help. We will sure miss Elder North though (the old Mission Secretary)! Elder Washburn and I were really surprised when we heard the news but we are looking forward to the coming weeks! I look at this as being a good opportunity to grow not a insurmountable trial. Our area has doubled in size but that just means we have twice the opportunity to bring people to the Lord!
Our investigators are doing pretty well! One of our fechas, Ricardo, is awesome! He attended Institute (Scripture Study Group) by himself, learned about tithing, and LOVED it! It was awesome! He completely understands the principle and said it makes total sense to dedicate 10% of the fruits of his labors to the Lord whose given him everything. We were speechless. Also, he made it to watch General Conference and liked it a lot!
I'm really loving my mission! Especially seeing the work progress in Parque and seeing the members get involved when they see how excited we and our investigators are about the gospel. We are looking forward to working with some possible new investigators this week, a family, and a few of our fechas to see if we can help them better progress to their baptisms.
Running out of time today... so many things to do!
Until next week!
Love you all!
